George-Emmanual Lazardis

It was in July 2000 that Springboard invited me to perform at the Wallace Collection concert series, in time with my graduation from the Royal College of Music and the legendary class of my mentor and magnificent teacher Yonty Solomon. This recital was a memorable experience for me. It was the most serious London performance I had given to that day and functioned as a turning point for my career in the UK. It was this recital that led to a wonderful review by Adrian Mack in the Independent, which honoured and encouraged me significantly.

Concerts that immediately followed include my debut at the Royal Albert Hall, St James Piccadilly, the Hampstead and Highgate Festival, Wyaston Festival and a concert series with the wonderful Medici Quartet. Now that I have the privilege to be working with one of the leading agencies in the world, Askonas Holt, it is impossible to forget the immense help and support of the Springboard Trust , at the beginning of my career in the UK. I would like to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank the Trust and in particular Hannah Horovitz, who kindly offered me an invaluable helping hand and a serious opportunity to move on in this profession.
